Recently, ROYPOW, a global provider of lithium battery and energy solutions, announced that it successfully received the UL 2580 Witness Test Data Program (WTDP) recognition from UL Solutions, a global leader in product safety testing and certification. This milestone demonstrates ROYPOW’s strong technical capability and robust laboratory management in battery safety testing, further solidifying its recognized position in the global energy industry.
The UL 2580 standard is a rigorous and authoritative international benchmark for evaluating the safety performance of battery systems for electric vehicles (EVs), AGVs, and forklifts under extreme conditions. Compliance with the UL 2580 standard signifies that ROYPOW products meet international safety requirements, effectively enhancing market recognition and competitiveness.
With the WTDP qualification, ROYPOW is now authorized to perform UL 2580 tests in its own laboratory under the supervision of UL Solutions, and the test data can be directly used for UL certification applications. This not only significantly shortens the certification cycle for ROYPOW’s industrial battery products, such as forklift and AGV batteries, and lowers the certification costs, but also enhances its market responsiveness and product iteration efficiency.
“Being authorized as a UL WTDP Laboratory affirms our technical strength and quality management system and enhances our certification efficiency and global competitiveness, empowering us to deliver highly reliable and high-performance lithium battery system solutions,” said Mr. Wang, Director of ROYPOW’s Testing Center. “Looking ahead, guided by UL standards and a commitment to superior quality and safety, we will continue to strengthen our testing capabilities and contribute to advancing industry safety and sustainable growth.”
